Real Madrid 11th Champions League Trophy.
Ream Madrid has won the UEFA Champions League for the 11th time, the winning goal was scored by the prolific Ronaldo which ended 4-5 in a penalty shoot out.
The Spanish teams meet at the San Siro to determine who succeeds Barcelona as Europe’s best. Los Blancos defeated their rivals 4-1 in the 2014 edition of the championship staged at Estádio da Luz, Lisbon.
And the ‘Headmaster’ who featured for Real Madrid Castilla between 1989–1992 has backed Zidane Zidan’s men to taste another European but suggests they must be cautious of Diego Simeone’s side.
“I see a very competitive final in Milan but I want Real Madrid to emerge as champions again because I played for them,” Adepoju told Goal.
“Both teams have done well this season and going into this game, they are certainly going to give it their all to avoid defeat because they would hoping to end the season with a trophy.
“Real Madrid will be hoping to win an eleventh trophy but they must be prepared for a well-organised Atletico Madrid who have surprised many with their brand of football.”
Saturday’s encounter will be Zidan’s first Uefa Champions League final and Adepoju has dismissed insinuations that his side would pay for his inexperience.
“Football at times could be funny atimes, but that does not make Real Madrid an underdogs,” he continued.
“Zidan boasts of quality players in every department of the game and the manager’s inexperience may not count because it is a game of eleven men each.
